A cardigan knitted from British down wool and South American herb blend yarn.
British wool, grown in an environment that is strong against cold, rain and wind from the Arctic Circle, has both firmness and stiffness, and is knitted with a tight knitting process to create a warm and durable finish that does not lose its shape.
 
We use the same yarn as the wool sweater released four years ago in the winter.
I wear this sweater quite often every year, and it doesn't lose its shape, and even though it's 100% wool, it doesn't pill easily!
Of course, it doesn't happen at all, but the reason why I didn't notice any pilling even though I wore it quite often (even when I was working) until early spring is that it's resistant to friction.
In making this sweater, we made samples using several other types of yarn, tried them on, and checked for pilling as we progressed, but high-quality yarn does not necessarily mean pilling does not occur.
The plain look and high durability are exactly what I was looking for.
