This hand-woven silk haori has been a standard jiji item for many years.

It's made from hand-woven Indian silk, which is known for its subtle luster and smooth texture.

By using a single warp thread and two weft threads, it combines suppleness and strength.

It's so light you'll forget you're wearing it.

I've been using haori in different colors for about four years. Of course, I wear them as everyday wear, but I especially appreciate their versatility when I travel. They're very lightweight and pack up compactly, so I can put them in my bag when I don't need them. I can quickly take them out and put them on when it's chilly or the sun is strong.
Perhaps because they're supple with just the right amount of elasticity, the natural wrinkles they have when washed and dried are also very appealing.
 
Starting this season, the previous free size has been expanded to two sizes, and a new color, black, has been introduced.
 
 
*The product is washed after finishing, so the dimensions will remain almost the same after washing at home.

The fabric used for this garment is handwoven in India from hand-spun yarn. Since the entire process is done by hand, there may be unevenness, kinks, or loose threads. Please understand that these are characteristics of handwoven fabrics before purchasing.

*Indigo dyeing is done using natural indigo in India.

This product is made by a single seamstress, through every step from cutting to sewing. Each garment is made carefully and precisely, with attention paid to even the hidden backside, always striving for beautiful stitching.
